5/8" tubing is sometimes referred to as 1/2" weighted tubing or airline. It is a slightly larger inner diameter than a true 1/2" which means getting hose connectors to couple two or more lengths is very easy as standard 1/2" PVC hose connectors slide in easily.

Ideal for big jobs with long tubing runs or small jobs where you don't want to lose pressure from narrow tubing. This is the standard in the aeration industry for weighted airline.
5/8" weighted airline is self-sinking so no weights are needed to make it sink.Works great with all types of compressors and comes in 100' rolls which can be easily connected together with 1/2" barbed hose connectors and some stainless steel hose clamps.

The dark blue color makes it easy to hide. It is designed for lake and pond aeration, making installations fast, clean and neat!
